If you feel uncomfortable using limited edition palettes in videos maybe when you use them on camera you also show similar shades from other palettes you already have. If you don't have a color then maybe find a palette online that has a similar color and suggest that.

i think you just really proved that color in a palette is good only if it makes sense! i get tired of companies throwing in a random crazy blue when it doesn't work cohesively with the palette just to try to get some kind of color in there. loved this video! i love looking at eye shadow palettes lol

that's actually a marketing tactic. it tricks the eye to think you don't have similar colors, you're more likely to buy it, the pop of color effect

I feel bad for the people that DO have limited edition products but NO one does tutorials and looks with them because of the reason you stated. It’s backwards. If someone wants the palette that’s LE, they can find it or something similar. Or a dupe. I wish more youtubers would consider the people that are being left out that have a lot of LE palettes. Gave my ABH modern Renaissance to my younger sister. In my line of work I don’t really get to wear makeup all the time so I chose the Huda Beauty rose gold ( original ) over the ABH one just because a lot of the tones are very similar, and I really enjoy the textured shades. Kelly Saunders I do like the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon. It has a nice amount of matte shades, with lovely pops of colour. It is also more cool-toned. I use the bright pink under my eyes and I get compliments on that shade.

Some people don't want to put heavy metals in their child's body. As the parent, she's allowed to make decisions for HER child what she thinks is best. I so loved and appreciated this video. Noting the Nars Limited palettes that Sam kept solely for the packaging made me feel sooo much better as I truly keep (and even buy a few) many palettes/compacts/etc only for the fabulous packaging. I’m particular about what I buy so it must mean a lot to me to buy it and so I keep it because I did put a lot of consideration into an item before I buy it. I feel the same way about my Lorac and Too Faced Palettes. My eyeshadow palette collection has grown so much and I find myself not getting excited about my Lorac Pro 1,2 and 3. Although I really like The Pirates of the Caribbean Palette. My Chocolate bar, and Semi Sweet haven't received much love lately, but I do still enjoy my Peach Palette. I guess, now, more and more we are getting higher quality and more interesting color select on our eyeshadows. Nice video Jamie. btw I'd love to see your Marc Jacob eyeshadow. I thought the Fenty Galaxy was just supposed to be a topper palette, along the lines of UD Moon Dust. It's good to know that the Rimmel Spice is a perfect dupe for UD Heat... it's not my colors, but good info! I hope they do one for UD Cherry!
