The greatest thing about that drive was that it came after Auburn scored their last t and their running back made a Heisman pose to diss Winston. Then the real Heisman winner went to work.

left too much time should have kneed at the 1...you dont give the real heisman a chance ...remember when they said blacks cant be qbs cause they would rather run and scramble...and they cant mentally handle it...well winston cant run so he has to stay in the pocket and he won this with basic passes...

Dude, its about prostyle vs non pro style. (FSU fan here) Tim Tebow was a great QB in college because he was a better athlete. He didn't succeed in the pros because he didn't posses the other skills the pro game call for. Has nothing to do with race and everything with the style of play that the NFL game calls for. His high school days are filled with rushing yards and touchdowns. Stop making it about race, its about the stlye of play that suits the pro game vs college game

Say whatever you want, but during the 2013 season FSU played and beat more ranked teams then Bama, Auburn, Oregon and Ohio State. Hell, OSU played Michigan State which was the first top 10 school they had played in SEVEN years and got drilled. Like us or not, we were the best that season.

That's not even correct.... have you used Google before? Before the bowl round Auburn played 6 and Alabama played 4 (as many as FSU did). Obviously FSU was the best team, but don't pretend for a second like the ACC has the depth to go toe-to-toe with an SEC schedule.

Zach Harrelson Ignorance: lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular. Cursive was saying Musburger was unenthusiastic when FSU scored that TD at the end, unlike every announcer does on a big play. Musburger has always been an SEC enthusiast, and hence why he'll be calling games on the SEC Network now. You didn't catch that, obviously being ignorant of the situation in particular.

Love it when you see a player (Benjamin) with so much talent, progress into a play maker. When he was a sophomore, I saw the potential and would get frustrated as a fan at how he wouldn't quite get there. Love it that he was the one to deliver. The first time I saw him on the field, that final catch was what I thought he was capable of doing and so happy for him that he was able to have that moment.

It upsets me how quick the officials were with the whistle at 2:24 on FSU's delay of game, yet there was a no call on Auburn's 3rd and 11 delay of game on which they ended up converting on their way to their -- at the time -- go ahead touchdown making it 31-27. Add that in along with the fact TWO officials missed a blatant face mask AND horsecollar call -- leads you to believe the bias was in. That's how you know FSU is the GOAT team because they had to overcome Auburn, the officials, and Dameyune Craig stealing signs.

I was in a room full of Auburn fans. When the ref signaled a TD all you heard was my laughter. Not laughing this season though. :(

Such a underrated national championship. Even tho I wish FSU would have got Alabama.

Even though I'm glad we won, I wish it didn't come down until the final seconds. It played with my nerves way too much.

Not to sound like one of those people, and even if Auburn won, I wouldn't have said anything about it but the refs were terrible the whole game. They were spotting the ball very generously for Auburn, they didn't call a blatant facemask on Jameis and the horse collar was the cherry on top.

No they didnt. they should have. There were other penalties against Auburn that were not called as well.

Ilovewyatt01 Everyone knows the receivers threw passes to themselves and the poor tackling by the Auburn secondary had nothing to do with it either.

the funny thing is the same hero (chris davis) was the one who made the crucial mistake on the pass interference call.so the only thing the sloburn fans can keep talking about is the iron bowl miracle.

I think it's pretty IRONIC that the same player...Chris Davis who was the player responsible for the Auburn win in the 2013 IRON BOWL was the same Auburn player that eventually cost Auburn to loose the 2013 National Championship game. He drew a pass interference penalty on 3rd & 8 with 17 seconds to go and gave FSU 4 more downs. FSU and Winston took advantage of that and beat Auburn on the next play. ROLL TIDE ROLL & GO NOLES

Them Tigers were up by 18 freakin points. 18!!!!!!!! There is NO excuse for them to have lost this game other than being outplayed in the 2nd half by a much better overall team. Only a team worthy of being national champions could have pulled this off.

Eric. The first damn play of the game was a late hit. If you have it watch it again. The auburn defensive lineman was lined up offsides the first 3 series. I mean there were so many missed calls on one side that I thought the bookies wanted to ensure an auburn cover.
