I have to say...I'm kinda loving the this weeks thrift haul with no live comments being read. Don't get me wrong I like the live interaction but it feels like the "old days" and I agree...lives in the farmhouse kitchen would be great!

Very nice finds, I like them all. I do like that robin's egg blue but because those pieces have a vintage look I think they would have looked gorgeous in a ivory paint.

The brass boxes are from India. Very popular in the 1970's. Original use was for crickets. Known here in SC as cricket boxes. I did enjoy this video without the comments.

@nhunter65064 жыл бұрын
If you watch the little number below the thumbs up or thumbs down it will go higher when you click on the thumb. However if you click it on the thumb again you can actually remove it and make the number go down. (You can actually only give a thumbs down once) so if you clicked thumbs down twice you’ve made it disappear (I think)

I had a can of wax explode when i was trying to open it...it was hot in the car...drove home...wait until was cool and proceed to open it...but the inside was hot and melted...voila ...exploded and wax went flying everywhere! lesson learned for sure...

@@alicemanion1445 Hi Alice, yes it was scary because at the moment i touched the can it felt cold but inside was another story...how did that work I do not have any idea. I assumed that because the metal was at the temperature of my home, a good hour had pass i was ready to use it..but far from it...inside the gas of the chemicals on the wax where ready to say "Hello there!!" with a bang.
@lolitabonita084 жыл бұрын
@@JamiRayVintage Just be careful the wax i purchased had some chemicals so my guess is that the gases of those chemicals where the ones that make the can top fly as well the wax. Now I have the wax in a glass jar...

WildRose yes but you have to understand they run a business and the redo a lot of the stuff but the prices the put on other things are because they are unique and you can’t just go to a different store and get the same thing. The unique copper pots from France 24.95 each is absolutely reasonable. They recycle stuff that people almost threw out. Not only that Jami has an eye for things and she takes her time to go out and find stuff bring it back and not only store it in her shop, but people can purchase online too . Business is business but the fact they are full transparent about what they do will help others learn to grow a business as well, don’t sell yourself short and none the things they sell are a rip off something’s just aren’t your or mine taste but to others it’s treasure !
@JamiRayVintage4 жыл бұрын
We are just honest in what we do. All businesses pay less than what they sell it for, they just don’t tell people. And while it’s not normal to do so. We do it because we hope it helps other people in the business find items and know how to price them. Selling things is great, but helping people is even better.
