Looks like you'd put a small cutting board in that slot in the bottom of the bread box and then a bread knife to the right. 🤷‍♀️

Ive been there. Just happens snd watching sad movies does not help. Try a funny movie or do something mindless, color, cross word. I've bought a few craft items at Dollar Tree to keep my mind occupied at times. Several cute ones.

The table is absolutely beautiful! You don't need butterflies on the table. Less is more.

*Jami, the floral leaf-shaped Japanese pieces are called "tidbit trays" and were most commonly used at parties or on bridge club nights for salted mixed nuts or small candies.😉*

The little table is gorgeous!! I think no butterfly was a good decision because it makes the colors so neutral anyone can use it! Love the color you mixed!!!

Zeb, I think the area on the bottom of the bread box is to slid in a cutting board and a knife. I'm so glad you got the orange giant Jack O Lantern! I'm no that into Halloween but I woyld have grabbed that in a heartbeat. So old looking and clever.

I think the breadbox had a pocket underneath for a cutting board and that slit over to the side is for the knife to cut the bread with. Just a guess since I only vaguely remember seeing one of those before. Great finds!

The lady feeding the chicken it looks to be French for Nativity. You buy the pieces alone and added to your Nativity, they have different sizes. They are not cheap.

Do you ever add glass tops to the furniture? Or carry glass tops? I love the little table you finished but would be afraid to ruin it if I didn’t add glass.

We don’t. But usually you can have them cut at the glass shop.
