I passed over a rooster yesterday... I love all your videos, so informative! You work hard to answer questions in the videos and in comments, sometimes the same questions over and over. You never treat anyone like they are dumb or bothering you. 💜

Comprehending appointed price is obvious some individuals do not take into consideration the work and time that will have gone into this captivating and unique piece of furniture I myself and many like me appreciate a one off design ... there's no REPRODUCTIONS at JAMIRAYVINTAGE... Thank you both for sharing 😚

I bought that exact "milky" milk glass vase last week! Right down to the Brody mark. I think I paid $3 at Goodwill here in Canada. I think I need to start cross border shopping! I live about 20 min from the Michigan border.

Is there a reason you didn’t use D&D on the top? I just repainted my end tables in my living room and I painted the top with D&D but did not wipe down. I let it dry for 24hrs and then put several layers of sealer on them and they came out amazing! I also had a blanket ladder made and I put D&D on it. To me D&D is the coolest invention on the market! Love that I can get a stained look and not have the odor or stained hands like from normal stain.

The manufacturer is out of stock of D&D so I’m out right now too. 😞

It would be great to have a tour of your shop in the intro. Oh and your living room. And include your stencils somehow, maybe the sample boards from the shop. Just a few ideas. I have a few Instagram questions. I was planning to email them to Kaitlynn on Monday. I hope that’s okay. I’m not sure what time the video will be on Tuesday and I have no idea what I’m doing that day.

Along with my question of how to clean the stamps after using IOD ink. Can you use the sweet pickins black wax over the IOD ink on DIY paint?
@JamiRayVintage5 жыл бұрын
You could. I’d let the ink sit and cure a day or so. That way when you wipe the oil wax back you don’t also wipe off the ink.

We clean the stamps with warm water and dawn dish soap

Chalk painted (white) a small vintage table. Looks great but there is a small section where it appears another substance is bleeding through. Will it cover if we paint over that section often enough. If not - what can we do? You mentioned sealing the candles but its too late to seal now that we’ve done two coats of chalk paint. Help ...
@JamiRayVintage5 жыл бұрын
Get some shellac and spray a couple of coats on the stain and then repaint.

Ha Ha Ha I commented on your other video that I picked those EXACT same chicken/rooster set. Can you tell me what color you are going to paint them and with what paint brand? I paid $2 each on half price day at Goodwill. I did get my brushes yesterday!!! Excited to get the other items I ordered soon! Love you guys so much and even enjoyed this very pixelated live :(

The black looks like a chook, the tail isn’t long enough for a rooster. But the comb has me thrown me but some hens have large combs too I like it in black though. I use a paint that doesn’t wet distress (mineral paint) so I get super jelly when I see the wet distress effect

Hi Jamie and Zeb, I just bought some DIY paint. I am not used to the thickness of this paint, I used to always just use chalk paint. If the DIY paint seems too thick, can I add water to it?
@JamiRayVintage5 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. Or dip your brush in water before the paint and that will help it slide on smoother
