In regards to this album this has basically made me a huge fan of Jamiroquai. A couple of month's ago for some random reason I came across his previous albums here on KZbin and absolutely loved them. Space Cowboy, Emergency On Planet Earth etc.. listened to them fully through and also found them very consistent. Then this was released and I loved Automaten from the video, got the album and I absolutely love it. It's been ages since I've had an album where I've not wanted to skip a track, I feel it's very consistent and it's just the fact that he brings the funk too which will always stand the test of time regardless. Listening to Jamiroquai's previous albums in 2017 sound fresh as ever to me and I've only just really discovered them. I love them, basically a new fan here and I've recently bought some promotional 12 x 12 in store displays to go in my frames on my wall alongside the other artists and my releases too. They're an awesome band and I would love to see them live at some point and hopefully meet the man himself. I think they're awesome. So hope you guys don't mind me being on the Jay Kay movement as I know you guys have been into him for years. I think he's awesome!! My favourite tracks are Automaten, Cloud 9, Hot Property, Superfresh and Nights Out In The Jungle but honestly, I love the whole album!! New fan!!

Robbie Glover This album is absolutely nothing like his previous albums..not to take your joy away but this album just ain't that funky..or rather is trying to be but it doesn't have that special sauce.

it's the best album they've done since a funk odyssey. there are some great moments in there if you're willing to accept this is a overall a different sound than they did 20+ years ago. of course, it's not peak jamiroquai but it's also not terrible.

Thank you so much. I truly appreciate that. Yeah I'm hooked!!! Ha. I've bought all his previous albums too and love them all. I think the earlier albums really represent the time but they also sound timeless too. I mean I've recently discovered them and they sound fresh as ever to me even now. The new album I feel is done really well and just moving forward with different things which is great. I do feel though that listening to Automaton there are still tracks with elements and representing his earlier work with funk sound that he had. It's a nice blend. I really loved the Dynamite album when I first heard it too and also Synkronized too. Emrgency and Cowboy are also great, Travelling without moving etc.. Funk Odyssey I love the artwork too in that on the CD. But yeah, I think he's awesome. I'm involved in music myself and have had some hits also (Google me if you like) however it's only recently that I've hooked onto Jamiroquai in such a big way where I've really got into his albums as opposed to his tracks on the radio and I love them. So many hidden gems (Hot Tequila Brown for example). I've also recently bought the High Times and Live in Verona DVD's (That rain man ha) ... and again, absolutely loved them. As a live performer too the whole band are great!! Anyway, I've only just read these comments and want to say thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it. Anything with the funk is fine by me and Jamiroquai does that to a tee. I think he's awesome and thank you once again for the kind words. It's truly much appreciated!! All my love!! ❤️🙏
