So polite and sweet of her to let the brother ride first. You can clearly see how excited she is but shes so kind to let her brother go first and to nor rush him or anything. What a lucky and deserving girl

I know how the Internet goes but wow! I can't believe all the negative comments! Unbeknownst to the child, the pony was at our farm for 10 days on a trial. She rode him the most but was not the only child to ride him. She had an inkling that she would get a pony one day but for obvious reasons, we did not tell her this one was here for her to try, Job one for us was to find the right fit and telling a child this pony was potentially hers would be a disaster if we thought it was not a good fit. As for her brother riding first, I guess she isn't as spoiled as so many people who did not watch the whole video thought LOL We were so fortunate to be a part of this Christmas with this wonderful family. As for the child, she CLEANED UP at the year end banquet 1 month ago. Best Regards, Hidden Oaks Show Jumpers

@KatherineUpton9 жыл бұрын
This girl isn't spoiled, her parents just chose to buy her a horse because they had the recourses to. Not everyone does, myself included. I'm over twice this girl's age and I don't have a horse, but it'll feel mighty good when I buy my own horse. This girl has obviously been taking lessons and her new pony will probably be very, very happy. :) Adorable video by the way!
@HiddenOaksShowJ10 жыл бұрын

The people saying she's spoilt and doesn't deserve/need a horse and criticising her BAREBACK riding are just jealous because they don't have a horse. 😂 90% of the time, those backhanded remarks are followed by "I've been riding for this many years and have been begging and I still don't have a horse." Please, cut the crap and stop being envious of a lucky little girl. It's pathetic. 😂👍🏻
@courtzero428210 жыл бұрын
The ones saying "spoiled" are just jealous because you don't have a horse. :) That little girl is blessed so stop being envious.
@courtzero428210 жыл бұрын
She says thank you in the video, and people have different levels of excitement! Not everyone screams and cries when they get a surprise.
@HiddenOaksShowJ10 жыл бұрын
She was certainly excited!
@courtzero428210 жыл бұрын
What does that have to do with anything? Obviously it seems her parents can support her riding horses.
@courtzero428210 жыл бұрын
I have horses. I know how much they cost every year and I know they're a huge responsibility. Responsibility is earned, not given. That little girl will earn responsibility by taking care of her horse. And once again everyone's level of excitement is different, including children. I'm pretty certain she's giving it all the love and care it deserves. Her parents wouldn't have bought that horse if they thought it would be too much for her.
@rowanbutler61787 жыл бұрын
court zero it's because we are jealous...honestly. At least with me...but crying over a girl with her own horse won't get me a horse. I know this shouldn't be something that should make me cry, but horses play such a big role in my life I just can't help myself. It's stupid...

I want to tell you, I never had my own horse as a child. I took riding lessons, but my parents said no to a horse. My riding teacher ended up putting me in touch with a family that had just moved to my town and had a daughter my age. They had an extra horse and were looking for someone to ride with them. Their daughter and I became best friends for many years, but college, marriages and children later I still never had my own horse. When I was 55, I said it's now or never and I adopted a rescue thoroughbred. His name is Monte (Magic Monde). Great horse, I had him for 5 years and now he's in another excellent home. I see him all the time and I'm so glad I did it. It's never too late. Good luck and I hope you get a horse one day.❤

It annoys me when small children that are like 6 get a horse when they hardly know how to ride, I've been riding 8 years and wishing for a horse for all that time, where's my wish come true, where's my dream arriving at my door? These spoilt little kids ask for a horse and their parents get them one, give it 5 years and it will all be over, she will be more interested in boys and makeup and fashion and want to sell her pony because it was just a phase. I would rather hang out with my horse than anyone else if I had one

I'm not blaming my problems on other people and I have a lot more problems than any of these people in the video.

I'm not bitter or jealous, I have horses of my own and see a little girl with everything in the world she could want, toys, pony, dance lessons, whatever she wants she gets, eventually the horse will get pushed aside, its not just a toy and they live a long time, the horse I'm sure will get attached to her and while she is playing with her friends and busy growing up this pony will be standing in a stall lonely and forgotten about, now if the tables were different and you could see this child had nothing, and I mean nothing and the parents did everything they could to buy her a pony, you know that love in that little girls heart for that long would last forever and her long would be her life long friend because I believe people with money think everything is disposable, people that have to work for a dream never let it go.
