Ummm....So, I am actually a parent of a son with Williams syndrome...That's the syndrome the witness character in this episode supposedly has. I've also been very involved with the WS community on facebook and with the Williams Syndrome Association for over ten years (check out their website for accurate info). I understand that the plot required the audience to briefly suspect this character before finding out he was a witness so that is probably why they went with weird and creepy at first instead of gregarious and charming which would have been more accurate. It's difficult to put into words but something was off about this actor's portrayal. Also, while it can happen, it's actually more rare for an individual with WS to be tall. My 16 year old son is only 5'2"...LOL....just a little fun fact. My son...and many others I know with WS....would not have acted as this character did when seeing someone hurt. Quite the contrary. Generally speaking, those with WS are known for having a lot of empathy. It seems like someone did a little research and this is what they came up with. BTW, there are actually actors with disabilities...including Williams syndrome.
