Jammer was why I wanted to try and work on Grime beats. He is my favorite from BBK. When I come across his cyphers I’m always excited to hear what he spits. You could hear and tell by his presence that he’s in this music thing for life.

No doubt Jammer has impacted culture massively. Sometimes people don’t realise who really laid the foundations because documentation wasn’t comprehensive back then. When a cultural movement is evolving it’s not always clear the true impact it will go on to have.

The new generation A&R and people in those positions are probably intimidated by Jammer and a lot of the original guys who built this scene. I totally understand where Jammer is coming from and also what Wiley was saying a while back. The scene has kind of moved on too much now and it's cemented in how things are done now, I don't necessarily agree with it, but it is what it is.

i started of listening to grime through instrumentals, for me when I was a yute it was who had the 96 bars of revenge instrumental, who has the rapid instrumental, it was the beats for me way before the MCs
