Your gonna have to buy a winch bumper for it so you can mount a winch you can buy these bumpers for around 20 to 30 bucks the TRX4/redcadgen9/axialscx10 types will work on this rig i got one from injora and it fit right in i have a winch on the way brother

Thank you, if you watch to the end I mount a trx4 bumper on it, and suggest possibly using one from the defender line up if wanting a brush guard. Right now I am having issue with getting lights to work after switching out the motor esc and radio for a fusion se 1800 and switching over to the radiolink rc6gs, for some reason the lights will not work, so not sure if I need to purchase a switch control or something else, stock receiver has a spot marked LED.

@jammer2150 i did watch the whole vid the fms light kit has its own light sys. So you weren't able to make it work with the radio link sys. Then the other option is connecting the light plugs to your current reciever you dont need all the lights for it to work good all you really need are the front and rear lights i unplugged the directionals because i hate em and i just plugged the front a rear lights to the stock light reciever the light bar lights are connected to the front lights so you wont loose those and its on the whole time i run it u cant turn em off but its an option just run those two plugs on the reciever and you still have room for the winch and optional winch bumper lights depending on how many channels your reciever has

How easy would it be to swap out to an ExpressLRS receiver to be compatible with MT12 tx? Thanks for the info on this RC!

I am unfamiliar with those receivers, looks like something they use in drones. I hooked up my radioling rc6gs after swapping in the fusion se 1800kv motor, but then the lighting system would not work on any channel, so waiting on a receiver for my flysky gt5 which has the same led slot for lighting.

I enjoyed watching your review sir. I have a question about motor swap. I’ve ordered a fusion pro 2300kv for this truck and as you know I had to buy new transmitter and receiver too. I’m just wondering if I need to adjust the end point of 2-speed shift servo with the new radio system? It’s a bit challenging for me since it’s first time I’m doing this
@jammer215012 күн бұрын
Yes if your new radio has the ability to adjust end points on auxiliary channel you select to use, the 2 speed shift servo does have a servo saver spring, but any time you have the ability to adjust end points go ahead and do so because it should help to extend the life of the servo.

@ thanks for the advice, it’s hard to know exactly how far the servo arm must travel from end to end to change gears properly and not to damage the servo

@@PouyaHaghighi-ev6gp If you are not familiar with setting end points, on a shift servo or not familiar with your particular radio I would suggest searching youtube, if you can not find a video showing how then if you have a facebook account try joining some of the rc crawler groups and ask advice their. some radios are more difficult than others for setting end points

@ I’ve bought an Injora 6 channel transmitter and receiver, probably not the best option but it’s cheap only 37 bucks and I know it has adjustable end points for all channels. I’ve been on the rocks with this rig a few times, it has a good low speed control and the motor delivers so much torque at low rpms but the drag brake is a little bit disappointing . I decided to drive it as stock for a few months then install the fusion. I’m super excited to see how the brushless drivetrain performs. I’ve never had one

@@PouyaHaghighi-ev6gp I felt the stock brushed system is just ok. I am pretty spoiled as all my crawlers have either the fusion 2300kv 2-in-1 or the 1800kv 2-in-1 fusion motors, they are worlds apart with torque and low speed control, the brushed system that comes with the FMS LC80 feels smooth and linear but the torque curve is off, as in when you put a tire onto on obstacle you have to keep applying more throttle to before it actually starts to climb the obstacle, and their is a bit of a dead spot in the trigger pull before the motor gets enuff power to the wheels which can also lead to accidently applying too much throttle Compared to a hobbywing fusion system you do not have to apply more throttle you can hold the trigger at any speed and it will not slow the motor down even as the vehicle hits an obstacle the wheel speed stays the same like cruise control. If you have never ran one of the hobbywing fusion 2-in-1 motors you are going to be very pleasantly surprised with how the system applies power to the wheels
