Jordi, I had never seen anyone play a bass guitar the way you do. Bravo! While I cannot play as well as you... you were a big factor in my buying a sunburst Warwick Star bass of my own.

@pCeLobster Hi, thnx for nice comments, the bridge spacing between string is customizable but not so much, and the bass is not completely hollow, it does has a centre-block. The sound is very nice on both pickups and also when mixing them. I play also the acoustic bass guitar and I can get a sound close enough to acoustic...Have a nice day

hi, thnx, yes I have EADGC, and here I've got an elixir medium set (from a 6 string set I take five), these strings works for me on this bass and also they work on my acoustic Takoma.

@Chiller30001993 Hi, apologize my english... The semi-hollow afects -in my opinion- on the way the unplugged instrument sings but not as an acoustic bass guitar, where the amplification is so complicated. So I thing the amount of natural ressonance here is appropiated. Then, when plugged, a little bit of natural resonance stays and the double hired pickups (in my bass) are going very well with that. They are passive and go very nice with a lamp preamp...

Hi Frankie, same happens to me, it depends on wich amp. I think there is a problem on impedances, same thing happen on my acoustic bass when plugged (piezo). It goes well if plugged trough a preamp. I.E. with zoom "b2.1u" (even with no effects on) or the D.I. "venue"by LrBaggs, they act as a impedance adaptor and then you get it and at this point I'm happy. Probabily you don't need anything of that on some amps...Hope it helps

These amp and preamp looks great, but I did'nt meet before, so I can't tell you... But I'm sure about the impedance mistmaches thing, it happens on acoustic bass piezos and it happens on double bass pickups (fishman, realist, etc) and that's why some amps or preamps has >1Mohm impedance at input (SWR, EBS,..). The best test we can do is putting a DI between the bass and the preamp. If you do please tell me...

Thanks for posting. Very nice playing. My question is this - is this a "Pro Series" Warwick Star? Is there a difference between the Warwick Star and the Warwick star Pro? Can you say something about that. I am interested in the Warwick Star, and I hope that is what you are playing. thanks.

Im playing through a Fender MD 1200 with a pre amp and I just bought a genz benz shuttle 12.0 . So is it worth returning the bass or what do u think,thank u

is it hollow enough to be able to play it without using an amp?

The sound is good just on 240p. On 360p or 480p the sound becomes ugly, I don't know why...
