Over the years I have repeatedly came back to this jam. It's just a perfect mix of everything. Demo 4 is my personal fav, it just tickles the ear just right

This was playing in the background and I went to see what was playing. I assumed my IDM playlist on Spotify. Then I saw it was KZbin... then I saw it was a live set. Entirely modular... then I pooped my pants and sold all my gear.

whichever oscillator is providing that ultra-high pitched voice, I freaking love it, really gives it that early 00s idm vibe to the overall tone, amazing

My God. That patch starting at 5:36 is really something incredible. Saw a clip of it in the Maestro video and just had to find the rest of it.

This jam makes me both extremely happy and hopelessly crushed because it's so incredible and satisfying to listen to yet incomprehensibly complex I'll never possess the knowledge to create something like it on my own. (There's also the financial drain too..haha)
@looseyfur743 жыл бұрын
you can and will.. pull a few modules at a time into a small rack and learn them ;) you can also build them from kits and its way less expensive.

I would love to see a video from you about both the Maestro and the Chainsaw. The Chainsaw is a ludicrous sounding module that has deep patching its interface doesnt give away. The maestro is something I have been looking at as a partner to pams so....

I have a video on my main channel about maestro that also uses chainsaw

I want more Happy Nerding gear. And I keep looking at Maestro. OCHD looks so dejected in the corner ;-)

Of course now that I hesitated Maestro is galactic back-order until who knows when.

Hey Jeremy! could you go into a bit of detail about how you used Shifty to hocket / sequence the chords on Chainsaw? I love what you did there.

Super nice. And so melodic. You‘re sequencing with a Daw or did you really create such melodies on something like the René?
@RedMeansRecording4 жыл бұрын
Rene into shifty. Send a slow as heck clock into Rene, like half notes or something. Pick a note progression on Rene that's melodic. Hocket that out with shifty and send fast gates to trigger the voices with their own rythm.
@VictorSteiner4 жыл бұрын
@@RedMeansRecording I only understood half of what you were saying, even after chedcking out Shifty (for the first time, I tought I knew most modules by the big manufacturers) .... have to read this a few more times ... but thanks a lot!

What’s the patch notes on what the maestro is doing in these patches?
@heety94 жыл бұрын
These are super inspiring and I always come here when I’m looking for ideas to jumpstart a patch. However I couldnt make it through the first jam since your STO was painfully flat 🙈 Not sure if it was tuned flat or wasn’t tracking properly... just a heads up!
