Hi , I have a video that got picked up by the algorithm and I was thinking of running ads to boost it a little more but I was thinking that would dim the organic push after I start using paid ads ? Is that accurate or does the ad system not affect organic push ?

Tough to say. I’ve definitely seen ads give videos an initial boost that helped them get picked up by the algorithm. Never noticed ads hurting organic delivery, but can’t say for sure.

My channel average click/impressions is 9.8%. I have NO idea why my most popular video is so popular. I think it has NOTHING to do with thumbnails or content (it is hardcore experimental music!). Impreesions: 1,226, CTR 21.0 %. But WHY?

Just targeted placement from the algorithm. Most likely the majority of those clicks are coming from existing subscribers, or possibly fans already on your channel looking through your content. That's typically the case with really high CTR. The more the algorithm shares your content with new audiences, the lower the CTR. It's all relative. Main thing with split testing is to compare CTR on the same video. Comparing to other videos can be misleading
