The acting in this was incredible and the writing provided was awesome. Tom's ability to bring forth such raw emotion was amazing. Cassie was a never a favorite of mine, but the script given her was so full of truth. The awful calmness that sets in as she faces the loss of her child and the need to chose one last dress for her is heartbreaking and real. My first daughter was in an accident when she was 16 and died two days later. Each time I watch these scenes, I am touched by the power of Jon's grief, but can actually feel the overwhelming grief Cassie faces in losing a part of herself along with her child. Jammy's Story remains as entertaining and fresh today as when it first aired. Guiding Light was the best!

+Susan Norris (Hesapawin) I am so sorry about your daughter. I lost my father a few days ago to a long illness and even though I am still finding the ability to laugh at things and enjoy the days, a part of me left with my dad. The grief is inexplicable and it sucks but I am still living. I think that's all that we can do. We keep living for them.

@@ilikeyoutube836 Thank you. I have been watching this series again, and it has lost none of it’s emotional power. I once read that we turn our memories into stories. I love Laura Wright, but this lady truly acted like Tammie's mother. And the girl, Stephanie G. had better mother/daughter chemistry with this Cassie than Laura's Cassie. Laura is over the top and flamboyant with her acting. I like it. However, this lady "put just enough on it". She brought a dignity to Cassie that Laura couldn't. Especially, after she "romped around" with Jonathan, trying to frame him. This lady didn't go over the top and she still made your heart break.. After watching these Jammy videos over and over, this lady WAS hands down Tammie and RJ's mother. I love her, I fo

It's always a tough decision for soaps to kill off a major character but they definitely played this one beautifully with great writing and outstanding acting by the entire cast. I watched Guiding Light from the mid seventies and for younger actors Tom and Stephanie were spectacular for three years. You don't find younger actors in soaps now since they have too many other options in scripted television and don't want the stigma of having worked on a soap so we should all look back and appreciate what we got.

Ronny Love You really can’t compare the two because for Tammy and Jonathan it was just the two of them. They never loved anyone like they loved each other. Elizabeth has loved so many men and she always seems to mess up her relationships and she was a hypocrite. Tammy was actually good. She didn’t judged people and she was more forgiving than most.

Great job with the funeral, when you watch soaps now they don't have the budget to put scenes like this together so funerals and weddings are shot bare bones with fewer cast members in the scenes.

Whatever happed to Jonathan and Sarah? And why was this version of Cassie so lame? The focus was so much on Jonathan that I forgot all about Cassie and she was Tammy’s momma! Also, wasn’t Tammy and Jonathan first cousins..? 👀 How did the writers rectify that part of the story?
@lovehandles41932 жыл бұрын
They went in the run after Tammy's funeral. He and Reva made everyone think they had died in a car wreck to keep her away from Alan. He then returned about a year later, let Lizzie in on the fact that Sarah was alive, and then they had to keep Alan in the dark together. Alan wouldn't let it rest, though, and so Jonathan ran off with Sarah again, this time with Lizzie's blessing. Before the show ended, Jonathan came back to town with Sarah--and then, not long after, Alan died. So the show ends with Jonathan and Sarah back for good, and Lizzie hooked up with Bill (pregnant with his kid). The end.
