Do what Fifth Harmony couldn't or maybe weren't allowed to do.... get in touch and connect with Black/Urban listeners. You need to take more risk - do interviews you never did before. The next time you're promoting in New York, go on "Ebro in the Morning"(he's been trying to reach you), "The Breakfast Club"(suck it up and deal with Charlamagne's bullshit), "Sway in the Morning", "Steve Harvey Morning Show"(Steve will take care of you, and give you the mature listeners you need) and finally... stop by Wendy Williams - she can't pronounce your name properly but she knows who you are. It will probably be some of the toughest interviews you'll do because I know how private and classy you are. But, if you want to broaden or should I say BLACKEN you're audience, these are some of the most popular places for r&b artist to promote at in the country. "Love Lies" is nowhere on the billboard r&b charts for a reason. It's time for you to personally reach out to the r&b community. Don't let your manager or new label try to "whitewash" you.
