Jamun Goa is a superb cross between elegant and laid- back, truly epitomising the best of colonial Goa. The offerings by award- winning executive Chef, Rahul Gomes Pereira, have been carefully curated and have a local extension featuring some regional Goan specialities including tossed Local Greens And Beans, Jamun Pork Toradinhos, and Crab Xec Xec. Alongside, diners can also dig into signature Jamun must- haves like Bharwan Gucchi, Patte ki Chaat, Mutton Ghee Roast, Ker Sangri Kofta and Raw Mango Prawn Curry served with Malabar Paratha to Appams or the local Poi Bread and Goan Pao. The cocktail list promises some of the tastiest cocktails on offer in Goa with a selection of homegrown and locally sourced ingredients with a classic Indian twist.
The restaurant itself, located in a restored Portugese Villain Assagao, is one of the most lovely venues for any occasion.
