That brings back memories. When I was stationed in Halifax, I'd take the train to visit family in Quebec. I always liked the dining car and in those days (when I was still drinking) the bar car.The train is a very good way to travel if you're not in a big hurry. We'd have to wait overnight in Campbellton, to catch the train from Montreal going East the following morning. I have several memories of those overnight stays in Campbellton. After securing a room, I'd head over to Cross Point where there was a bar on the Quebec side of the bridge. Some wild parties!! I am so much tamer now, though!!
