I can't decide which sound more perfect, the guitars or the performer.

Each guitar has such beautiful tones. You played each so well I couldn't choose a favorite. Maybe the 3rd. You play with such ease, fingers gliding on the fretboard so nimbly and smoothly. Listening brings my ears great pleasure. Thank you Jan.❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I love Jan Depreter's speech, I love his performances, I love that the audience can see the picture of Jose Luis Romanillos. Also, Jan's set list is one of the warmest sets ever. He also have a warm tone which I adore. Watching this concert felt like getting a big hug from someone I just danced with. 🤗 Thank you for this concert! 🥺♥️

That’s how it’s done. Just beautiful music, without the somehow obligatory nonsense that is based on theory, not on beauty and melody.

Absolutely delightful. Depreter remains one of my favorite performers. And what an amazing batch of guitars to be able to listen to! Wonderful tribute to Romanillos' legacy. Truly interesting to compare these guitars to, for example, the Heubner, Lissarague, and other guitars from the Siccas weekly guitar video from this week. While Heubner in particular I think has something special going on, the traditional guitars that Jan is performing on...well, for me, they are all simply beautiful in a way that modern and modern-influenced guitars are not.

He "plays a little guitar"! Well, that must be the understatement of the century, from a true living guitar master, that also has a decades busy concert schedule and participation on basically all recording labels for decades to prove the quality of his work! Just recently I listened to an album on Brilliant Classics of the greatest from Spanish composers, and guess who of course participated with several pieces on that album too! I would say, if you listen to guitar music on basically any recording label, at some time you will get around the name Jan Depreter and take note! By the way, do consider to seek inspiration on Brilliant Classics, who also publish the odd but still beautiful masters frequently. For instance, through that recording label and channel I have got to realize, that Russia got a very rich tradition for classical guitar music too, today almost forgotten by contemporary musicians entirely, but still very beautiful. If I were a guitarist at all, I would definitely take inspiration from that source. Another example is, through Brilliant Classics I have got to know, that England had a composer for the classical guitar, who were a huge name a century ago, fully on the level of Tarrega and all the great Spanish and Latin American names, but today entirely forgotten, despite his music being so beautiful! His name is Ernest Shand. I am not suggesting this, because I am tired of Albeniz, Granada or Torroba, which I could listen to three times every day and still never grow tired of, but because maybe guitarists with a taste for other than the beaten path to fame could consider these great yet somewhat forgotten and very beautiful and melodious classics, over some of all that horrible unmelodious and ugly music, that young guitarists have a flavor for today! Please! That Cordoba though, on a Romanillos: All discussion is over: Jan Depreter is a master and Romanillos deserves his fame for making great guitars! Bravo!
