Don Johnson, Ferrari, Miami, Art Deco, Modern Architecture , Florida, another side of the USA. It was all very attractive, different way to enjoy life, and a few years later it became reality, if only for one year but I made it happen. Great show it was back then.

Love listening to these old favourites - and there are a lot of favourites - through such high quality filters. Thanks! The high end, along with everything else on these rips, sounds very pleasant to my ears. But is it a wee bit understated compared to the CD/digital versions? I listened to this Jan Hammer tune from the original LP on my vintage budget turntable, and it's a little bit brighter in tone, as well. Is that a conscious decision on your end? Or is it just the superior equipment making its mark? (I'm not complaining, I like the somewhat subdued high end.)

Thank you. My collection is in far from perfect condition (especially compared to some collectors!) however all of mine do get played. You are right though, I take good care of them and keeping them clean makes the biggest difference. I made a video some time ago of the cleaning machine I use (A Keith Monks Mk2 wet / vacuum machine) - you can see it in action here (note I sped the cleaning section up by 2x) kzbin.info/www/bejne/enfRfWVuZrBqi6s Additionally I use new inner sleeves (MoFi or Big Fudge (check them on Amazon) rice paper / poly sleeves and new outer sleeves as well, just to keep everything clean over time. Keeping the records clean in this way means it's very rare for the stylus to pick up anything at all. 👍
