Here are the mirroring of real events in the movie. 1.Police Attack on University-> 2019 attack on Jamia Millia Islamia University by Delhi police. 2.Police encounter on 4 accused-> Hyderabad encounter of alleged rapists 3. Prithviraj's character almost draws parallels with an Intelligence Bureau officer Sanjiv Bhatt IPS. The politician he came out against is now the Indian Prime Minister. Sanjiv Bhatt remains incarcerated. The entire movie is a satire on the state of Indian democracy today. The rankings in Press freedom, religious freedom and many other indicators attest to that....

They talk big about casteism, color all those things at the same time they casted a real dark guy as villain minister, a dark cop who is giving informations to the professor who killed Sabha. At the same time the smart lawyer is from upper caste Arawind Swaminathan 🤣🤣. That tells us how much this team who made this movie actually care about all these issues

As a foreigner, I find those things to not make any changes to the plot. As the characters are not obsessed with skin complexion, and they symbolise the change. And the cop turned out to be the main hero (savior). The villain minister, silently but loudly is portrayed as the current PM. The bad lawyer is a "brahmin?" Or is there a caste called "Iyer"? I don't know. The mother that Aravind called at the start to testimony, is an innocent and good dark complexed mother. I don't know, I just can't find any agenda that you could find in this movie. This is a movie that tackles reality, and is portrayed in such an engaging way.
