Awesome!! We are going next weekend, what section did you set camp and why? I'm thinking of going to the rows

We camped in Area 6 this time and really liked it. We’ve done row camping before and it’s fine, but you don’t get as much room to yourselves that way, and getting in and out is trickier. Plus, the ground tends to be much harder to get your stakes into on the rows. But it is a cool experience and you’re closer to the action and to the front gate. We chose our spot this time because it was not crowded at all and had enough space for all of our friends that were coming out as well.

We parked in the rows, with the tents close to the trees, and my truck close to the road. 5 days, 4 nights. I was able to drive in and out for meals in town, easy. We felt the greater social experience has to come from being out in the open with the people, though. It rained HARD that Thursday night. I'm talking monsoon. Camped in the row, our tent floors were floating on top of water, and our air mattresses were floating on top of that. Like air beds on top of water beds. Neighboring campers said the main roads were knee and waist deep. Idk how bad it was back in the general population camping. 😉
