When you stamped your flower bunch at the bottom and then used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out, you can then set the cut out with the stitched die at the bottom of what you've already cut out. That way you will also have the stitched line at the bottom of your rectangle. Either that or use a smaller stitched rectangle.
@janbcards4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you're right Edith but it's very difficult to get the "stitches" to stop before the vertical stitches otherwise you end up with a + stitch. This was the best size for the size of the image. I think if it bothered me I'd use a non-stitched die. Many thanks for your feedback. xx

Jan, Thank you for the wonderful tips and the little in’s and out’s of card making and die cutting that you tell us about. You are a wonderful teacher but I do like the solid colored flower better, a combination of both I will use. Yes, if you are making a card for someone they must be very special to you so anything goes. Take Care. ~Barbara

Jan, do you have the description of your retired DSP? I found an ebay site with retired Stampin' Up paper and would like to see if I can find the DSP from your first No. 524 Pop Up Paper Basket card. My friend gave me the Lily paper so I can make that one and would like to make the other also.Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your videos immensely.

Beautiful card! As usual! I have been meaning to ask you, do you keep,your plates so flat by keeping them under the rollers, or is there another method? Mi am amazed by how flat they are. Mine get so warped, I replace them constantly.
@janbcards4 жыл бұрын
Many thanks, Tricia. I do keep them under the rollers but nothing special. I can only imagine that, because my Big Shot is in constant use almost everyday, the plates probably keep getting turned over so that both sides get used a similar amount of times! xx
@sharonwachal66622 жыл бұрын
is there anyway you can put all the dimensions for the card together on one section and allow for printing? This way it would make it so much easier to put the card together and for making future cards
@janbcards2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Sharon. The inches and metric measurements are in the box below the video. You can do a copy and paste from there. I made this video before I started including US measurements and before I started putting the measurements below my signature on my blog which is posted the same day that my video is published. I did this because I found from experience that a copy & paste from my blog works much better than a copy & paste from KZbin. I hope this helps. xx
@sharonwachal66622 жыл бұрын
how do I get all the measurements for the cards. I can't find a pop up box for this information
@janbcards2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Sharon. These are the instructions for opening the box below the video: Opening the box on YT All the measurements and the products used in creating this video are in the box below the video. To locate the box you must be watching the video on KZbin and then it depends what device you’re watching on. If it’s a laptop or PC, under the video, at the bottom of three lines of writing you’ll see SHOW MORE. Click on it and the box will open. If you’re on a phone, you’ll see a down arrow on the right-hand side. Click on it. I hope this helps. xx

Ooh i can do this also with the Free as a Bird Bundle?😃🙋🏽♀️🇳🇱🌷greetz from Estelle Windrich from The Netherlands
@janbcards4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Estelle. It would take quite a lot of fussy cutting but I'm sure you could do it. There are birds on branches on the Designer Series Paper which you could fussy cut. Or you could stamp and colour the flower in the stamp set and create a stem for it to be adhered to - make about four of them. Have fun! xx
