I can still remember the first time I heard this circa 2016, having read up about Jandek but not having heard any of his material. Upon hearing this, I was so horrified I had to turn it off halfway through. Fast forward seven years, and now I am a Jandek fan (having gone down the rabbit hole of his enigmatic story and music).

@mikal9000 Strangely I think parts of Moby Grape's first album that features Skip Spence has similar qualities, also Vincent Gallo's solo album also has that kind of intimacy that is found in Jandek's recordings.
