The cage trap revolution began in 2010 with the advent of cage traps with powered doors and wire triggers. Single door traps with pans and gravity doors have been replaced by the new rugged double door traps that can be set in any position, upside, sideways, even vertically. Some are small for chipmunks and squirrels, while others will handle coyotes, beaver, otter, bobcats etc. The new traps are head and shoulders over the old.

Interesting - they must be significantly more expensive, I've never seen them for sale around here.
