@@bookingthroughlife I think I'll be able to post one video in the second last or last week of the month just as a little life update and what I read in June, kind of a mash up video of a few things / catch up because I've been busy studying. But I've been making time to read!! I'm currently reading Northanger Abbey and plan on reading a few other books for Jane Austen July as well! Even when I'm busy I have to read haha. My morning cup of coffee is always paired with a book, my study breaks are spent reading and my evenings are spent with a book.

I so miss Janelle, she loved Jane Austen July and her enthusiam was so infectious. I shall be reading The Murder of Mr. Wickham, how interesting that there's already a sequel. I also want to read Sense and Sensibility and Lady Susan. I'm also halfway through A Truth Universally Acknowledged: 33 Reasons Why We Can't Stop Reading Jane Austen, a book of essays edited by Susannah Carson, that is really good. Happy reading!

I miss Janelle too! She was such a great resource for mysteries. She was also so positive and funny. Let me know how you like The Murder of Mr Wickham. During JA July 2021, I read some of the essays in 33 Reasons... I really enjoyed most of them , a few were meh. I hope you enjoy all your reads!

I may read Sense and Sensibility, too, and if I do, it will undoubtedly be my favourite . . . At least until the next one. 😜 I also started early. I read Death Comes to Pemberley by PD James for Janellathon.

I’m reading The Year in Between as part of the Janellathon. It’s S&S retelling or continuing story. I think it will help to bump up S&S in my ranking. It’s really good.

I watched the Greer Garson one last year and I think it was my first time. It was okay. G. Garson is a favorite of mine but that version is not close to book. I love Austenland.😄

I believe the Greer Garson version had to use Gone with the Wind costumes due to budget constraints. I might watch them back to back to compare. Also GWTW used all the technicolor film which is why it’s filmed in black and white. I like that version but find it more amusing than anything. Lawrence Olivier made a decent Mr Darcy.
