You can take the girl out of Wakefield but you can’t take Wakefield out of the girl. She’s such a natural and what you see us what you get, no airs and graces, I think her mum Jean and her Scottish roots have kept Jane grounded and she’s been mounded into the wonderful warm character that she is. Her concerts are so tasteful and well directed you’d think she was performing just for you in your living room. She was just what we needed at the time of The Cruise and thank goodness she was snatched up. Some of the best singing I’ve heard since the late Dusty Springfield who’s songs she does with a passion as shown by the great lady herself.👍👍👍
