All the times he couldve tried to get back together with Jane but he just stood back because he didn't want to mess things up. "All I want, forever and always, is for you to be happy, Jane"-Micheal but on the other hand, "All i want is to put this ring on your finger," Rafael. No disrespect to Rafael but still.

This is a nice edit but IM TEAM MICHAEL FOREVER!!! I think Michael changed and matured A LOT. He's literally her soulmate. He ALWAYS put Jane FIRST and always knew her so well, even her micro expressions like if she's sad or had something on her mind. HE literally put his whole life and job on the line for Jane and Mateo. But Rafael was always making Jane second guess her intuition, kinda gaslighting her, always arguing, and he barely respected her religion even though he knew she felt it was important for her child to have. Michael was there for Jane through thick and thin and respected her choices and beliefs so much. Even when Rafael broke Janes heart, Michael wasn't gloating or anything, his first intuition was asking Jane if SHE was ok. Michael is such a great guy, and the writers and producers did him so dirty to just kill him like that, and then bring him back just to then kill him again mentally. I think people only like Rafael because hes the biological father and hes "hot" and rich. If Rafael was poor, greasy, and a fat midget, i don't think fans would even look his way.

@@caeliemartin7766 Rafael was also out for Michael too, and was so jealous of him and Jane that he got him fired from his Job, and always gaslighted Jane about it and used Mateo and the idea of family to guilt trip her and coerce her to stay in that relationship :/ I wrote this on another post. But Michael kinda had some problems here and there, but he changed ALOT and grew so MUCH in that little time from when we first got to meet him, and he always remained loyal to Jane and Mateo and even her family. Whatever they needed, he was always there for her without any strings attached. Maann, he even helped Rafael say the right things to Jane even though it hurt him deeply. And anyways during the season 5, its 100% the writers fault, they wanted to break the relationship between Michael and Jane by what ever means possible because of the producer's orders. One of the folks working on the show back then revealed that other than Rafael being the biological dad, there was no way that made any sense for Jane and Rafael to be together because Michael and her were soulmates and had so much chemestry together, so they had to ruin Michaels character and kill him so that Rafael and Jane could end up together. but that kinda flopped _You dont have to read this part but you can if you want:_ When Jane was with Rafael she would always walk on pins and needles whenever she wanted to talk about something that was bothering her so that he wouldn't explode on her. Rafael kinda has a short temper and we saw that in the seasons after they killed Michael and also before too. Plus he made Jane cry a lot, he was way too jealous, kinda used the idea of family and mateo to guilt trip/gaslight her, and sometimes yelled at her a lot too. When Jane was with Michael, she was glowing, they had so much fun, and they conversations would just flow together so well, especially when she had something on her mind, she would say it with ease and they would work together so nicely and vice versa. There was so much peace on her face when she was with Michael. You rarely saw Jane crying or upset when she was with Michael. He alwys talked to her with respect and heard her even when she couldn't say it in words. I hope you dont feel like i'm attacking. If you still want rafael that's your opinion, but I took psychology for many years, I see through all the smoke and mirrors of Rafael :/
