@@sharkk72 And his main gripes with Frailty were the vocal delivery and how the tone shifts sometimes didn't feel cohesive. And this album improves on both fronts. As a 38 year old woman I really love this music. The chord progressions remind me of Nirvana and the harmonies remind me of Elliot Smith. The way Jane Remover makes music makes me emotional which I don't experience often when listening to music. Love this album.

I grew up listening to Deftones and Chevelle, and as an autistic music obsessing kid, I loved that shit because it was so loud and noisy but nuanced in a way that scratched a very specific itch for me. I felt a lot of emotional complexities within the music to resonate with, but I never *really* fucked with it all the way if I'm being honest with myself. "Idling Somewhere" is that missing puzzle piece where my boundless imagination and penchant for alternative hard rock met as a child. Plus the fact that this masc-coded music is being reclaimed to be so queer and so much better than before - reminds me why I love life. Thank you, Jane, for making profoundly special music.

This is one of the best creations of mature artistry to ever hit the public this year. There is incredible storytelling, heartwrenching lyrics, and emotion being consistently pouring out to the point where it has fully overflowed into the music. It has been incredible to see this person develop and grow to become her true self, which is coming from someone who discovered her music two weeks before the release of an EP titled "Teen Week." I am proud to be here and watch this moment happen in the present, and I look forward to seeing her grow further within herself and her music.

The fact that this album starts with a plain riser with nothing else is so genius. It's like we're entering a dream sequence which is even further emphasized by Cage Girl's dreamy character. This perfectly shows how this album mostly contains fictional stories that relate to real feelings, just like a dream! Jane is such a genius!!!

This is fictional? Is this Jane's personal experience or no?
@aidawaswhere
@aidawaswhere 11 ай бұрын
@koolkid9119 Jane had a near death experience sometime last year and it basically was the catalyst for this album. While what happens in the album story wise is fictional (spectaculated which parts are fiction tho) the emotions that Jane conveys is all very real and I'm sure it connects to personal stuff in her life. For example:Track 9 "Video" is about a girl who gets obsessed with a guy online, and he takes advantage of her because of that. The meaning of that song is the drive of chasing a dream, this being Jane's music career, but she's scared how it can affect her with the devious people in there, just from my perspective on that song.

My first listen to this was me walking around a strip mall by an expressway because i forgot my wallet and couldnt buy a thing. So i just decided to walk while the rest of us sat down and ate. I was outside the chowking and staring into the christmas lights. I kept fixing myself in front of the dirty mirror of the public bathroom wearing my school uniform. I watched the sky change. This album was especially loud in my ears walking down long, dark, and empty corridors. I sat in the parking lot. I got up after two songs. I specifically remember me screaming after the lyric "How to eat myself alive, you taught me everything." In front of a juice stall. I felt a whole deal that day, it was hauntingly beautiful. Thank you jane 💗

I've discovered Jane Remover ever since I knew AViT. I first discovered Jane Remover when she produced "you're the reason i'm this way" and also my friend who talked about it. I've first listened to Frailty, which I've been enjoying till to this day. I've also listened to Teen Week, especially enjoyed homeswitcher, and more of the EP. I was really excited when this released, especially Census Designated and Lips. Thank you Jane for this. I'd love to see more of your music in the future.

Everything about this is Incredible. Insane Artistic vision, captures many different emotional elements with the limited, yet dense visuals in unison with the Masterful production & Lyricism to create an amazing Album. The theming of the lyrics mixed with the tone of the instrumental creates an opposing scenario akin to the rotten & decaying house contrasted with the Golden, gleaming, shining, yet barren field. This surreal, warm, almost nostalgic atmosphere in a way is present in many, but not all of the tracks, since the themes of disorder & rot, while present all throughout the Album, are overwhelming enough in some to bound them well in reality. Your perspective can really change significantly based on the emotional sum of the song. Very clever indeed. Almost akin to a liminal space, but a potentially very welcoming one depending on the general vibe. But apart from looks it really wouldn't hold much value, so I guess that also ties back into the general message(s). ❤ Of course, this all depends on how you want / can perceive the Album, & what you want it to mean to you. I personally take the elements of it as I see it & appreciate it for that. But that's just my own two cents. Regardless, Jane delivered Masterful work yet again, as per excepted, and as to nobody's surprise LOL. Truly a prodigy of her time. Hopefully she gets the recognition she deserves someday. Much Love. ❤💙!!
