Jane knows how to capture this complex energy in her songs. There’s something comforting and relieving about this track, while at the same time tapping into a sinister, unnerving discomfort that makes me feel conflicted. Any of her songs can go from powerfully soothing to all consuming, overwhelming noise in seconds. I can’t even pin down the emotions the song makes me feel but it just REALLY makes me feel. Already the album of the year and it’s not even out, LOVE this single.

yeah the biggest critique of frailty was their singing and in the frality project file breakdown stream they said they rusdhed the vocals and that they should have given themself more time to record. she only spent like 8 months on frailty ( she started in april 2021 and realased nov 2021) and for this album we dont know when she started but contigency song realsed in nov 2022 and this single and anoucement of the album realased aug 2022(obvi) which is alreadly longer than she spent on frailty, this album also has less songs than frailty and for all we know they could have been working on this way longer than that. and the album still int realaseing till october so thats means by the time the album comes out it will be at least almost a year in the works. so she has had more time to work on and record vocals

The lyric page itself says 13 different people such as you or I have helped contribute the lyrics for that Genius posting. But sure.
