Generic Trash if you actually think that you’re naive. Things like luck and comps matter in Big Brother. If Dan and Memphis don’t win a bunch of comps in S10 they don’t make it to the end. If Rachel doesn’t win as many comps she doesn’t win. Steve needed the comp win in S17 - Vanessa is one of the best strategists in BB history but if she won that final HOH she doesn’t lose. Derrick and his core alliance won so many HOHs in S16. Bottom line is, social strategy only gets you so far. The closer you get to the end, the more you need competitions.

It's funny because the same exact thing can be said about Mike. In bb2 he literally did NOTHING. He went home 5th and had zero strategy. Maggie was a very strategic winner, don’t include her in that. Jordan is understandable, but it was really kind of rough choosing between her and Natalie. Jordan was naturally good socially but terrible strategically, and Natalie was good strategically (she came up with the Russel/Jeff lie plan) but got everyone to hate her. You cant discount social game and jury management. This isn’t a perfect world - real people are on that jury, and real people have feelings.

I was really confused with the Erika hate. On a person level yeah she was kind of the worst that season, but on a game level she played an awesome Floater game. She was much more passive than say Jun, Shelly, or Andy, but she still played the game rather than sit back oblivious all summer. Boogie rode Will's coattails so hard that it wasn't even funny. Boogie and Erika's games were VERY similar. But I'm more impressed that Erika made as far as she did without having someone from a previous season to depend on. I hate how the Floater strategy has been dragged through the mud. Will was the original Floater after Shannon and Boogie left, Jun and Alison perfected and named the strategy, and we've seen plenty of people use the strategy well. There's a huge difference between being loyal to no one and playing to all the dynamics in the house to fly under the radar till the end, and just not doing anything. It's the difference between Shelly and Adam (BB13). Shelly knew what she was doing and was playing the game, she had people believing all her lies for such a long time. It's a strategy that requires a strong social and strategic game.

I remember being 14 when I first watched this and being too busy staring at Will with his scarf instead of listening to the jury members lol All jokes aside, I didn't like Erika but I have total respect for Danielle's opinion and I just loved her. I liked Danielle more than Janelle and she should've WON BB3 (the very first season I watched). She's my favorite female BB player. Still glad Boogie won over Erika. James and Will were on point and negotiable here (Janelle, Marcellus and Howie were too bitter). Also, I always felt Will kind of liked Danielle (*really* liked I mean). He looked at her with a lot more respect and sincerely seemed to be enjoying his time with her in the house, unlike with Janelle you could always tell they were just using each other. Too bad Danielle was married...maybe she and Will could've had a "showmance." I'm not saying for certain Will did have a crush on Danielle...just saying it seemed that way.
