Yep, Maceo played sax for James Brown back in the day, his other uncle (who's first name I can't remember at the moment) played drums for him too :) What a musical family. Whew. Love it!

I love her sense of style & theatricality. Sorry GaGa, you may have to move over. This child knows how to work a stage and an audience ...the fact that she always wears black & white to honor her parents who were janitors tells me alot about her character. She no plastic Gaga droid flava-fav. She is a real person with a brilliant talent.

sorry i aint feelin ms. jonelle. she's beautiful and all that. but musically, i cant find IT. i cant feel IT. too abstract for the kid. where's the prince/stevie and james brown influence???? WHERE? where is the SOUL?
@isrialclark7 жыл бұрын
I would recommend checking out her other songs. She doesn't have the typical soul sound, but her music does have soul. Her imagination and eclecticism transcends the genre and make her music a tough listen for some. This song isn't the best example of her soul.
