Only thing I will say DBXV2 got over DBSZ(BT4) is the basic combos - in XV2 I like how some combos you link together will have them do attacks str8 from the show & are shown with dramatic camera angles (zoom-ins, close-ups, etc.). In DBSZ seem like only time the camera gets dramatic is when you do a special move. Yeah this is literally the gameplay formula of previous Budokai Tenkaichi games.

This is a totally different franchise and I think they brought back that old gameplay style to make it separate from Xenoverse 2, tho it was our "Budokai Tenkaichi substitute" for a long time. I know we've all seen a bunch of gameplay that's not high-level, but I also remember in the Budokai series the only time the camera have the dramatic zoom ins are during special attacks, struggle beams, & the OFF vs DEF "guess which button to press" mechanic. Just saying Xenoverse 2 was good at making "simple gameplay" look hella stylish.

DBXV2 has exactly zero on any of the BT titles from a mechanical standpoint. It’s fine if you’re of that opinion, but I highly suggest not saying anything until you’re actually on the executing end of the thing, because I can tell you that XV and XV2 are objectively shallow as hell by comparison.

@@Kerunou I never played XV1, but I still play XV2 and had it since 2016, it suppose to be shallow as far as gameplay, art direction and all. I'm just stating facts. It's multiple videos of DBSZ gameplay where they are stringing this same combo - (hit,hit,hit,hit, knock back, vanish, knock back, vanish, knock down/up) and the camera only slightly moves. In DBXV2 you can do that too, but you can literally just press the weak attack button constantly with EVERY character. All of 'em will have different combos (some might end shorter than others) and also have different camera angles, whether someone knocks 'em up and fly around 'em or like when Vegeta does his infamous "uppercut-like kick to the gut", it literally zooms in to show you. Just do the comparison yourself. This is someone who played the Budokai, Budokai Tenkaichi, and Raging Blast games.

@@qdakid7776 They were fumbling a lot in the late 2000's to mid 2010's. Kinect, ultimate tenkaichi, raging blast 2 was a dissapointment. I recall the internet being quite antagonistic towards the franchise esp after Ultimate Tenkaichi and Kinect claiming console DB games were dead. It only slightly came back during Xeno 2 and fully after Fighterz. Remember that around that time Ultimate Ninja Storm came out which really peaked after 2 which were then compared to the DB games back then. Bleach Soul resseruction was also highly praised by fans back then.

So UI Sign Goku is a separate character confirmed. Looking at his transformations icon he doesn’t have 2 when he’s at skill level 1 which would account for base and perfect UI. Further proven with how going base doesn’t cost anything skill points and when he’s level 0 he has no icon.
