How do you do suggest doing the dynamics😃🎶🎶🎶🎶

Hello! First of all thank you! I'm glad you liked my recording. Here are a few tips to approach the dynamics and phrasing of the piece: 1. Melodic contour (ascending/descending notes) 2. Change in repetitions (consider doing different shapes of dynamics in similar phrases) 3. Imagining the harmonic colors (to me this piece pictures an atmosphere of an open space. how does the harmony present different colors and shades in the dynamics? e.g. broad warm sound, or shimmering tones. Resist in thinking only "loud or soft" 4. Length of the phrase: sometimes it's easy to focus on a shorter phrase and forgetting the bigger picture. Making a 4 measure phrase to help the flow the music, or think of a period (8 measure phrase). And on top of these suggestions that tackles dynamics in general, ensuring the hands have good balance and proper voicing is crucial. To spice things up, the usage of rubato will make your interpretation sound unique and one of a kind. :) Good luck!!

Did you actually play all level 8????

Hello! I am still working on it! I think I did most of the Romantic/Contemporary (except one) in the repertoire book. I am trying to work on all levels under these two periods first because these are the repertoire that don't have as much recordings compared to the Baroque and Classical pieces. Is there a piece you'd like to listen to? If you do, please feel free to request! :)
