I have always loved this song! I love how she isn’t afraid to be vulnerable in her voice. She lets the emotion make her voice break and crack. Many artists are so worried about being the loudest in the room- but it’s Janet’s vulnerability that makes her vocally shine. This song was from Poetic Justice with Tupac and was nominated for an Academy Award.

Great reaction. This is one of Janets best ballads and was part of the amazing janet album. She started that album with Thats the Way Love Goes in Spring and Summer 1993 followed by If and then Again. I had the pleasure of seeing her on the janet tour and she was the most popular artist in the world during this era. You should also check out her VH1 Live performance of What About and her live performance of Trust a Try from the AFY album. Both were amazing. She also has a lot of amazing unreleased hits.

Funny you say it could be in a "blockbuster movie" 'cause it actually was. It was in the soundtrack for Poetic Justice, a movie she starred with Tu PAc. The song went to the top of Billboard and the movie went to #1. Also, the song was nominated for an OScar

On a personal level I would like you to react to some of her latest songs from 2015's UNBREAKABLE, the production is out of this world and so rich : - BURNITUP! -feat. Missy Elliott (lyric video) : the proof she can still deliver killer beats in her 50's. Alas, no media would promote her. -THE GREAT FOREVER (audio stream) : that one song where everyone is thinking about Michael when hearing it. Simply beautiful with lyrics on point At last : you should do more LIVE performance from her, beginning with the moment the world knew she would become a big superstar, please check out the video "Janet Jackson Performance From The 1987 Grammy Awards. HD" (introduced on stage by Billy Crystal), and hear the public go wild on the flawless choreography. No other girl was performing that good back in the day and Janet was sooo damn cool !
