Every one who participated in the video definitely brought their A-game. This video should go into the music hall of fame as one of the best videos of all time [if there is such a category]. Janet is so smooth, controlled, and confident. She made it look easy... she looked great, sound great, and didn't oversing or danced. She danced so in tune with the music that she became one with the rhythm. Kudo's also to her companion dancers as they too held their own. Janet ranks alongside her brother Michael as being one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Janet- thank you for sharing your gift to the world.

The mannequin challenge --- before it became a thing, her interactions with the kids, the kudos to the Nicholas brothers and cab Callaway, the inclusion of her main producers Jimmy jam and Terry Lewis, the choreography, it's all just chef's kiss. I have loved it since I first saw it on bet as a child. It's beautiful. Edit: I love how her face lit up to see the legends like the lady in red, and Mr. Calloway, and the Nicholas brothers!

I came by after reading about this video in a Cab Calloway biography. When this and other music videos came out, I sure didn't appreciate the production values. It's like a short, high production movie! Cab was an example of a guy that had "it" and kept "it" until the end. He was so much more than just Minnie the Moocher. Thanks Janet Jackson for giving him a classy sign off.

This was a time to be alive. I was born I. 82 and i tell my younger friend they have no idea what it was like to experience this stuff. The world was screwed up. Julien Temple directed her video When I Think of You off control. The first music video shot as one live action shot. Cutting edge and funky in 87. Again used the same technique for All Right in 89. This time they had massive success and enlisted a whos who in black american Jazz pop R&B modeled after guys and dolls with Frank Sinatra. What a hat tip as watching the movie now, there are so many oh wow moments...Its always been fun finding out who or what inspired artists and what a great moment in time....
