Every one who participated in the video definitely brought their A-game. This video should go into the music hall of fame as one of the best videos of all time [if there is such a category]. Janet is so smooth, controlled, and confident. She made it look easy... she looked great, sound great, and didn't oversing or danced. She danced so in tune with the music that she became one with the rhythm. Kudo's also to her companion dancers as they too held their own. The mannequin challenge --- before it became a thing, her interactions with the kids, the kudos to the Nicholas brothers and cab Callaway, the inclusion of her main producers Jimmy jam and Terry Lewis, the choreography, it's all just chef's kiss. I came by after reading about this video in a Cab Calloway biography. When this and other music videos came out, I sure didn't appreciate the production values. It's like a short, high production movie! Cab was an example of a guy that had "it" and kept "it" until the end. He was so much more than just Minnie the Moocher.
