I have been a fan of Janet Jackson since she was a child performing with her siblings in Las Vegas at the age of 7. It was evident that she would be a MEGA STAR. Her lustrious , iconic career is unmatched. It's amazing that she has such stamina at the age of 58 and has Grammy winning and nominated songs in 5 music genre's , ROCK, DANCE, R&B, POP, and HIP-HOP. Thank you for your detailed review of her Essence performance and for being a fan of the true Blueprint of not only female entertainers, but some male performers as well.

She was amazing! I saw her last month here in LA and her show was incredible. I just thought she would do her tour set considering she’s been doing back to back shows for a week and a half- but when o saw this show and realized they have put together A WHOLE NEW SHOW - I was 😮 Shooketh she is incredible. Regarding the crowd at Essence. I swear I say this every time Janet is there lol Essence is primarily 40 and older- you’re just not going to get the reaction from 40+ like 20 year olds. But even with that, looking at live crowd footage - they were very much so enjoying it. It’s just when they do these live streams of concerts they mute the audience. Which I hate that because it lightly decreases the energy of the performance. But Janet held that energy ❤ and killed it ❤
