Janet's work impressed me as a child and now that I'm grown it still does. I still look at her work in awe. Thank you Janet for being so incredible. You are my idol . I love you forever. Thanks for being a good person also.

How do Janet Jackson's videos have anything less than 100 million views???? This is a living fucking LEGEND, ICON!! Ya'll better appreciate her, now not after we lose her!!! God bless you Queen!

tbf apparently this video wasn't available in the US until a year or two ago which is crazy. Something’s up with her label that they don’t have all her videos on her channel, it’s very strange

We are of a different generation, that’s all. Her fan base is older now not watching KZbin like the generation behind us. MTV & VH1 was our social media😂, remember when you could call vh1 and request a video be played 😲, we have come a long way!!

I still cannot believe regular radio stations played her songs without a second thought. These lyrics are grown folk talk. Lol "You on the rise as you're touchin' my thighs and Let me know what you like If you like I'll go down, da-down, down, down, da-down, down I'll hold you in my hand and baby Your smooth and shiny Feels so good against my lips, sugar". 😂😂😂😂

HAHAHA!! I think the FCC was asleep at the wheel when this song was playing. Listener discretion advised, indeed!

Honestly, I think it's because (at least in the 90s) the words were undistinguishable. I know, as a 14-year-old, I really only understood the chorus. The verses sounded like complete mumbled gibberish.

My first CDs were Doggystyle, Dookie, and Janet when I was maybe 7 (my nana and I did not know what Parental Advisory meant). Here I was thinking that hey, at least Janet was relatively appropriate. Turns out I had forgotten the lyrics. 💀💀💀

I know that some people tend to seek Janet's influence in other popular artists (which is quite obvious) but I for one want to acknowledge her influence on me. I cannot even describe how much strength, determination and sheer power her music has given me through the years

Baby I’ll say this…if I was an musical act, I would copy Janet word for word, step for step, fashion for fashion and video for video….I cant be mad at these girls when I know I would do the same thing. Now some of these girls know exactly what they doing but they will say they biggest influence is somebody else like Tina or Madonna. Sure Jan!

As a younger man, I used to revel exclusively in the high-powered lyrics, and Janet's highly sensual vocals. As a much older guy, I have a newfound appreciation for the song as I listen to the message. All in all, she is just a super bad performer who comes close to her elder brother's greatness.
