I had the honor of attending the VMA's when this was performed. I may have been the only one in the audience balling his eyes out too. You almost expected him to come out from behind and surprise the world that he was still here. Sadly, he was no more. This would be the closest thing to seeing MJ live EVER in my lifetime. RIP MJ. Still miss you and the music.

It's amazing to see all of those pro dancers & choreographers altogether in the same room. Mike would've loved that & would've wanted that too. Although, I do think a few ppl were missing from this, like Fatima Robinson & the Taluega brothers (Rich & Tone). Either way, it was an amazing performance & tribute 2 the greatest. RIP MJ #oneglove

Yes Janet was and all of Janet's dances were choreographed by someone else even her biggest hit Rhythm Nation Michael as responsible for the dance sequence. You are right about Michael though and how precise Janet is. Regardless who's telling her what to do it's flawless and flows.

Excuse me...WHY is Wade Robson in this? If you had such issues and bad memories of Michael then WTH did you participate in his tribute performance???! I never like to or believe in victim shaming but this is really suspect. It still really bums me out cause I had such respect for him, he is ridiculously talented dancer/choreographer, that can't be denied but that whole mess of suddenly putting Micheal on blast AFTER his death I found very sketchy. If you were abused and something awful happened the LAST thing I would do is get involved with something that has to do with your abuser, much less work with his sister. That's like seeing one of Bill Cosby's victims working as his assistant after they were assaulted. Just saying.

Is not that they wanted to do something different from MJ but to actual try to do it like in the video. Even choreographers need a choreographer to teach them a dance move they have never done before and especially if they are trying to pay a tribute to another dancer...MJ. You heard Janet say MJ represents dance to them so this was their way to pay tribute to him.
