When they had their show on WE TV, I could tell that they were different people. Tia seems to not mind being an open book, and Tamera may want to keep things closer to the vest. I just think they have to navigate the new normal of Tamera being married, and Tia no longer being married, she could have been trying to talk to her sister but Tamera may have been giving her advice from the lense of being married and that could possibly come off as her not being supportive of her getting a divorce. 🤷🏾♀️

Tia and Tamera gotta be hard. Like you are mad at your face! They were together all the time growing up and had a show together and business interests. They also had their own interests and friends but were together a lot. Then Tia got booed up and married and Tamera would be there but the number 1 was now Cory. Then Tamera got married and each of them had children, their own lives, separate careers. Then Tamera moves to Napa so they see each other even less. Still love one another but are busy living their own lives. Now Tia is single again and Tamera can’t just run to her because she has a family/career to nurture. So I wonder is it that they don’t talk period OR is it that they are so busy that theyre talking isn’t what it used to be. Like does one feel a certain way cause the other doesn’t run when they call? It’s unfortunate but Tamera saying “Tia is doing Tia right now” spoke volumes and I’m like ooooooh yeah y’all def have differences.

Ion get why it's so hard for celebs to say: "this is a complex subject and I don’t have any information to share about it", or "I understand people have strong views on this topic, all I'll say is that I hope we can be respectful of our differences" and keep it movin', when asked about issues they don't have the range to talk about. Especially seasoned celebs like Janet who went through that old school, extensive media training. Especially about notoriously polarizing topics like politics. This ain't an influencer on Twitch streaming from their basement, bffr. There's a reason why a good PR team will advice against discussing controversial stuff like religion or politics unless you deliberately wanna make it all about these issues, cause that's what the public will focus on. Ofc she's free to support or discuss whatever she wants, but y'all the purpose for giving this interview was an upcoming tour, something thats gone completely ignored cause of this. *Also, when caught spreadin' misinformation (willingly or unwillingly) -and she did, Kamala's father ain't yt- just apologize. She don't have to support or endorse Kamala, just stick to the facts tho. Everybody can make mistakes, but doubling down on easily disproven claims is a choice.

I think the problem is that the dems often use identity politics in their favour and pick and choose a bit so the republicans dived on it to be like "See! They use race as an angle too". Personally I think her race should never have been relevant at all. I feel like the dems sometimes talk down to black people as if youre supposed to mindlessly support everything they say because you're black. Its not like the alternative is good but things like Joe Bidens comment "are you even black if you arent gonna vote for me" and similar definitely rubs me the wrong way. If im dumb enough to vote for Trump thats a problem but its not a problem linked to my race. My idiocy would be a personal issue

@aking2330 We didn't care. SHE made it a point to say she was during the campaign to evoke empathy from us when there's several online receipts of her claiming her Indian ethnicity for years. If we wanna celebrate her being the first woman, that's fine. But to claim black is a democratic tactic that they keep using on us. It's time for us to have a standard that being black shouldn't even be a strong reason for our consideration. We should've learned that from obama.
