well actually I'm very inspired and very influenced by janet jackson and her brother michael it's i am their very special fan/more than a fan of theirs i mean i'm like a very loyal supporter/protector of them and the rest of their family it's because the reason why I'm saying this it's because i actually have faith in them and i also believe in them it's because my dad told me while my mom was pregnant with me in 1990 is that my father wanted to tell me about what it's like to feel like i know them i mean very seriously it's no joke or lying or making it up or not kidding about that stuff ether i mean my dad said to my when i was born in 1990 is when that i was born being very inspired and very influenced by them but i never had the chance to meet them when i was 1yrs old in 1991 but idid met Janet's brother michael in 2002 over a phone call line in November back then but it was not prerecorded it was actually in secretly private when i was 12yrs old turning 13yrs old back then but i also could of met him and janet in face to face in 1996 through to 1998 1991 2002 2006 and 2009 but i never had the chance to do that but even i was a part of starlight foundation program i mean seriously i was 1 of them at the end of 1996 through at the start of 1998 but i was one of the very sick and the hospitalized kids from the starlight foundation program back then though so

This song was so underrated in my honest opinion , like she manages to reinvent herself and come out with this and Call on Me .. I didn’t know her discography much before this because it wasn’t my generation.. I only knew about All for You and Rhythm Nation but after watching the documentary I have a new found respect for Janet and her contribution to the industry . She has my respect and admiration. Since Damita Jo in 04 the downfall pattern has remained consistent. Damita Jo 1 million, 20yo 600k, Discinline 400k and now her last album sells 180k. Everyone is very quick to point out that the Super Bowl incident is to blame, however I'm probably one of the very few who disagree which is why I asked this question in the first place. Sure the singles for Damita Jo could have charted a notch or so higher had the incident not happened. But I do believe the whole fiasco actually somewhat boosted her career. The blacklist really only heavily lasted during the Damita Jo era and even this is for music videos on the main channel only. I do remember going to America back in 2006 and seeing Call on Me and So excited on every damn music channel and yes that included MTV they were also playing in heavy rotation. During the period of 04, 06 and 08 she's was on every damn platform there was for a artist to get interviewed or preform to promote the album. To say that her last 3 albums failed because of the lack of promotion due to half time incident is a load of BS as these 3 albums were all promoted like hell and they sold as much as they possibly could. I do believe that all her albums that came after All for You where good, but did not have that genuine spark and originality she had between 1985 - 2002. Theres was also an interview with Jimmy Jam making this very point as to why her album sales declined on a UK documentary about her which aired 2 years back on BBC 4. So I do have my personal opinion on her career slide, but that does not include this one song.
