R.I.P. Janette McKinlay...passed away in 2016 from a head tumor that others also developed from breathing all of the toxic dust. I hope she is doing her flower arranging right now in Heaven.

Powerful awakening by a woman who admitted she was not interested in knowing about US politics and foreign policy prior to 9/11/2001, and who subsequently brought us along on her quest for the truth. May she rest in peace.

The looting incident is troubling, who did it in those ten days when only the police were patrolling and residents and the public couldn't get near Ground Zero or anywhere in the near vicinity? Really troubling and distressing

This is such a bittersweet and somewhat tragic interview with Janette who was a sweet, intelligent and charming lady. Since the interview was done in 2009, our country has exponentially continued to be triggered in divisive and harmful ways, as opposed to the unified body Janette envisioned. I think these triggers have worked precisely because of the trauma and betrayal that 9/11 was.

How strange when she mentioned that they could not go back without a police escort to their apartment yet they were looted. How many were on the take during that time I wonder?

The army were sent in by that afternoon. Were they set to investigate buildings with broken windows for casualties? She also mentioned her neighbors whose windows were not broken., who stayed, at least for a few days.

Very good interview! I could feel the emotional trauma she must have been going through. I wondered about where the dust particles came from for testing .. and it was good to hear how she came to have them and keep them. I also thought her summation of the meeting that was held to answer questions was pretty accurate in regard to the attitude of the powers that be .. not acting with integrity .. and actually conveying their unspoken words that showed it was their mission to say nothing .. to try to 'classify' all the evidence .. knowledge etc. about the event. It really makes a big point that this country is being held hostage by those who are the REAL TERRORISTs of 9/11.

This was such a bittersweet interview. Even tho I watched this happening across the water in NJ, I never realized how 9/11 truly affected all of us. I never even thought about those living in the area and what they went through. Her path was sad but also a sort of renewal for this lovely lady. I also believe this was a cover up, and the 9/11 commission hearings were eye opening. I hope that we are safer today but I don’t have high hopes. Now we have the mellenials growing into adults who, for the most part, did not witness 9/11 and in some ways we have forgotten.

Thanks for this interview. It is very insightful and meaningful and I agree with her observations. Most of us have chosen to remain in the dark and our apathy toward examining the facts allows us to remain that way.- Cognitive dissonance gives us the ability to distance ourselves from the truth and protect our fragile sensibilities because the process of opening Pandora's Box exposes us to too many unpleasant realities that are easier not to confront. However, without the truth, healing becomes impossible, and as she points out we have all been victimized by this.

It is fascinating to see how the conspiracy-theory types suddenly - YEARS LATER - glommed on to 9/11. Specially once the hijackers’ home countries went more right-wing - most muslim governments at the time offered condolences. Saudi Arabia offered compensation to the bereaved of the city, which Mayor Giuliani furiously rejected. So desperate to deny it was Islamists, that the attackers relatives were afraid to claim the charred fragments of attackers’ remains identifed from DNA.

women, i understand your upset at being looted, i've had my house broken into, i was terrified for a week to sleep in there, but they got a stereo. you were one tiny person with a few possessions taken, 3000 people were killed in horrific fashion, the police were swamped, put it in perspective. the civilian side had 5,000 planes landed in (2 hours)record time. how many more attacks were diverted? the military allowed three more planes to hit their mark.
