That's what I love about 80s music. It goes from a deep synthesizer typical 80s sound, over great ballads to songs like this, that sounds like it could have been made in 2018. 80s music really was, and HAS, everything. And that's also why I'll never stop listening to 80s music. 😉

It was actually a local hit here in LA. They played it constantly in 85 and it was #21 or so on the end of the year chart. Shame it’s never played in 80s stations today. The song holds up.

It got airplay on the "alternative" station in Dallas too. It stuck out because, well, it just sounds like a simple cute pop love song if you're not paying attention. Not only is it a bit melancholy lyrically, musically there's more going on too. Great track. Oh, and it still gets played on SomaFM's "Underground 80s" channel.

The second single from that album, Inside A Dream got almost no airplay and was not a hit. Tho it might have registered with some since there was a push to make it work after Rush Hour became a hit.

Although I listened to K-pop, I just *love* the 70s-90s music. When I asked my parents about a concert that they want, they shared it and sadly, they didn't have the opportunity to go. I like Belinda more but I do find Jane to be the custest by far. Being from the UK I did not find out about the Go Go's till they reformed in 1994. I already love jane from Rush Hour which was a big favourite of mine and Belinda was always a big favourite too, so it was great for me to find they were actually in the same band.

I saw the Go Gos documentary and Jane talks about the pressure to have a hot debut album. She talks about the disappointment when hers didn’t do well. So I listened to this debut single. It’s amazing. Totally underrated and should’ve been a top ten hit.
