Janez Detd. - She's My Ex

"She's My Ex" is the first new music Janez Detd. has recorded in 14 years.

The idea to record new music came by accident. During a meeting with Hanne from For I Am, the idea of recording a duet arose. The idea matured for a while and after a couple of weeks Nikolas came up with "She's My Ex" from ALL, but in a reworked version as a duet. They dove into the studio together with this as the result.
The video makes a reference to the video of "Take On Me" which was the big break for Janez Detd. in 2000. The guys are not shy about adding humor to their videos.
The recordings were sent to Jesse Cannon in New York, who had previously produced the last Janez Detd. album "For Better, For Worse." The mastering was done by none other than Bill Stevenson himself at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado.
No one ever expected new recordings from Janez Detd. again, but just to show that after all the craziness of the past few years, all the craziness is not yet out of the world. We hope you can appreciate Janez Detd. 2023 can appreciate.
