Solas x Lavellan - In my veins

You know now that I've read the lore, the stories, played the game over and over I can say without a doubt now you can tell that with every fiber of his being Solas tried to resist falling for her. He knew that she and their companions would see what he is trying to achieve as either plain evil or just not the answer, depending on how you rp it I guess. He also knew that he does not belong in her modern time. He is old after all. Very old. I do see what he is trying to accomplish as very wrong and the worst of all desperate answers, but I also see this romance as one of those, Let your love for me change you and show you that you are wrong, kinda romances. There is always someone out there who loves someone that isn't good for them or for the world. Either she realizes she cannot change his mind or he realizes he loves her, their companions and this new world to much to destroy it, and someone decides to take the cause into their own hands leaving him trying to help the new protag to stop it whilst trying to also save his love. Whom I believe will be put in harms way to hurt Solas as revenge for turning on the cause or changing the purpose of the cause idk, (if their relationship was love or friendship at least. Couldnt tell ya what it would be if it was a hate relationship) Then again bioware usually likes to say haha got you and we all could be wrong. Then there are those who throw all sorts of hate to those who choose to try and save Solas from himself or see the good in him. After all as the saying goes. Anyone capable of being loved is capable of being saved. But it is obvious he was terrified of letting him love her and is why he walked away from her. All very sad really.

goddesschild24 I never looked at it in that way. And I believe at the part where Solas breaks up with her, I think he was going to tell her that he was the dread wolf but couldn't bring himself to do it and told her about the markings insted.

Janic99 THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!! i found out he basically confesses out of no where (on the balcony) and super early in their relationship which got me wondering .... how could he love so fast?? it put me into a whirlpool of the feels x-x

randomgal190 Well he has spent most of his lifetime alone.. only with spirits... and I don't think he has felt like that for so long time so he just fell for her really fast. I mean he had to take care of her since the beginning when she was still unconcious after the explosion where she got the mark on her hand. He was the only one able to keep the anchor from killing her since it was his own magic and own power from the orb so I think since the beginning he had to take care of her he kind of felt keen to inquisitor. Also It is not quite fast if you do all the missions before you do the story missions. XD I mean he is clearly trying to resist it like '' I must... resist... I can't... give... up... I can't.. love.. her... '' then she is like: '' Sweet talker ;) * kiss * '' and he is like: '' oh... fuck it.. * fade tongue * '' XDDDDDDD What I am confused of is that he says '' the orb it is of our people (elves) '' then '' Oh.. because we are both elves... I don't find myself having so much common with the elves '' then again '' But the people.. they need me '' then '' My people '' Inquisitor: '' Who are your people?
