It's quite an involved story. Colonel originates with the Italian word colonna, meaning a column. In Italian military terminology, colonnella was the officer commanding a column of troops. Okay much as I love Chandler and a fair amount of time I'm on his side over Monica on these kind of issues... I'm not sure he really has a leg to stand on the whole "oh either directly confront her or do a basic lie about's what happening that will wind up working out" concerning Janice. Remember Chandler's the one who tried doing a preliminary strike ending his relationship with Janice the last time they saw one another... and that wound up with him having to go to Yemen for like a weekend at least because of how that blew up in his face.
