This song helped me pull myself through a breakup that severely effected me. We were really close, we called 12+ hours every single day since we met and I would risk getting in trouble just so I could stay up as late as I could with him. I loved him a lot. I was in a really bad spot in my life when my ex and I first met. I could hardly keep myself together, I completely destroyed my sleep schedule because I didn't want tomorrow to come quickly, I loved solitude and staying away from everyone; basically I isolated myself. However, when my ex and I first met, he for some reason, changed my point of view. I could see and feel clearly. I loved him so much. When we first got together, he slowly stopped calling me, spending more time with his friends rather than me, which I didn't mind, but it started getting me annoyed and unloved when he never would hop in a call with me. It was hard doing long distance, but when I start getting ignored and left alone again, it begins to hurt. In December, he flat out ignored me. I suffered a panic attack during that time as well as became impulsive and uncontrollable. I really needed him yet he would be doing other stuff and I would call out to him but he hadn't cared. Finally, I talked to him about it and he apologized, trying to be there for me more often and calling me more yet we just went back to the beginning. Our calls were about 4 hours long and most of it was in pure silence. I couldn't handle it yet I loved the man so much. It was hard getting his attention. But I wanted it so bad. As other months came by, we met more people and eventually, a group of girls who claimed they simped for him. Of course, this boosted his ego to the point we wouldn't have private calls anymore. He'd be in a public call with the girls as they all played games together yet I was never invited. I remember joining for the very first time and listened into their conversations. He seemed so much happier talking to them than he ever will with me. It hurt so much. Finally, we broke up. At 4am. On Valentines Day. He told me it was because of religious reasons. Yet, he still dated me for two months and led me on. Told me that he wanted to date because he wanted to experience the love he will receive later in life. Me? I experienced a breakup that shattered my appearance and personality. I cried my eyes out, trying so hard to make myself feel better. I put on clothes that usually made me feel confident, I wore light makeup, put my hair in a beautiful hair style - yet it couldn't help me. My friends did their hardest to try and help me, I took a break from social media to collect myself but I ended crying more. I stopped eating for a week, avoiding my favourite food, drinks, everything. I couldn't sleep because I didn't want my days to continue anymore. I don't know how I pushed through it, but I can't say I'm fully over him. Till this day, I will still think of him, the music suggestions he gave me, the compliments, the promises. He promised he'd never leave me. We don't even talk anymore. I lost him. Will I lose everyone else just like him? I still can't eat as much till this day.
