This song was from the the movie The Rose where Bette Midler played the part of a singer who could have bene Janis Joplin but was not. Janis unfortunately belongs to the 27's club and she felt ugly and an never recognized. RIP Janis, you do not know what U mean to us.

Bette Midler canta "The Rose", actúa y casi gana el Óscar a mejor película, actrz y canción.

Lovely tribute to Janis Joplin arguably the greatest rock pop singer ever - rock blues equivalent to Maria Callas, better even than Aretha Franklin in her range, improvisation, and emotional intensity. Hope for humanity in that many of different nationalities still love Janis. Glad to have lyrics in Spanish.
