She wanted everybody to enjoy her music, and let's not forget that voice. I wish I could have been there I noticed the comment where somebody said they were at that concert and that is absolutely rad it's just too sad that we lose all these amazing musicians so young and pretty much all of them to the same disease of addiction and it's very sad but sometimes pain is what it takes to make Shining Star and it's usually the death of them as well. I saw my friend Luis Gasca on the video, the trumpet player. I knew it was a fact, and just a glimpse of him in the horn section, as Janis brought people on stage. You can hear him nailing the high notes over and over take it pow. She and the band were so topnotch.
