I was studying hospitality in Switzerland back in 2006, went to Glion Institute of Higher Education. This video took me back especially the Freddy Mercury Statue, I have a picture taken with it. Memories in your head stays in there forever.

As an Irishman abroad.. I’ve a very close relationship with Switzerland (my daughter lives there) I’ve been to Montreux many many times. And have been to the jazz festival every year since 2014. My advice to anyone is visit Montreux! Even better when the festival is on! You’ll never experience anything like it!

Eu tive o privilégio de ir no mês passado, em junho 2022, para visitar esta bela cidade e a estátua do Freddie Mercury. Vim do Brasil! Mas por não ter aeroporto, me deu um trabalhão para chegar, sem conhecer nada e nem a língua. Mas valeu muito a pena! Precisava saber como fã do Mercury, porque ele apreciava tanto a cidade e porque ele sentia tanta paz naquele lugar! Realmente é tudo isso que ele dizia! 👏👏👏👏❤️

Lovely area there in Switzerland. It has many unique architectural features - those rounded boardwalks are quite nice. The native flowers; the trolley (reminds me of Disney World); clean water, natural mountain backdrop, and the huge castle -- all ooh, la, la 🤗. Most especially, in this video, I loved the many displays of art in the sculptures. Very, very nice. The weather is divine too. А ещё здесь свои последние годы жил в отеле 3х язычный писатель русского происхождения Вл. Набоков. Когда его спросили однажды почему он не купит себе дом или квартиру, он задавал встречный вопрос:" А зачем? У меня давно с рождения есть большой дом в Петербурге..." Который у них был отнят после революции. А его отец был министром во Временном правительстве. И был убит в упор каким-то эсером на одном из собраний Русской эмиграции в Германии.
