Sam and Matt then did a project called Fail Better Heal Faster but then some other stuff came out via Reddit and then Sam cut ties with Lou. The album is really good (more depressing) but it's hard to listen to knowing all the shit

There's been 2 major accusations and some minor ones, by people who claim to have known him personally and simply saying he's "creepy". The first one he admitted to himself and apologized for. It was basically him sleeping with someone, who later regretted it. Just lack of communication on both parts. The second one is that he should have sexually assaulted a 15year old, back when he was 21. No proof other than a band member from Matt's former band (Panucci's pizza) confirming it. Basically, everyone has taken that as undeniable proof and now everyone hates him.. You can read more about on /r/emo on reddit. Such a shitty situation imo. everyone in Jank has distanced themselves from him and they no longer speak. Matt himself has yet to make a statement on the 2nd accusation.
